This gallery brings together photographs from journeys outside Germany and Southern Africa. It includes cities, landscapes, architecture, coastlines and street scenes from places visited for work, family holidays and simple curiosity.
Travel photography can easily become a catalogue of landmarks. I am usually more interested in what surrounds them: how people use a place, the details of a street, changing light, and the moments between the obvious attractions.
